finally fifty. next target is one hundred. it’s not really ok when i set this kind of targets instead of learning (which was the primary goal when i started making this ocr stuff), but i like (especially) round numbers..

i’m lame, i admit it. it’s time consuming to go for a harder captcha, and i want to get to 50 so here’s another one done with just a little bit of work. there are some N/M/H and I/J’s that need special attention even from me, so i declared it finished after getting 80% accuracy.

i bring nothing new with this one. so having nothing to say, here are some words about the rates: i use a train set which is variable in size and a test set which (usually) consists of 100 items.. so the 99.7%/99% rates below actually mean that 1 item in the test set got a letter miscategorized and (consequently) 1 captcha was not correctly “read”.

if you look at my rates be aware that the size is only 100 and the error (+ or -) may be significant when there’s a great variability within the captcha set.. however, this is not the case for the scoopeo captcha.

well.. this is another site for which i doubt anyone needs to bypass their captcha.. however, considering the results i got without too much effort, i think a motivated spammer could easily defeat it..
